IMF SpeedTip 2.0

Intermaxillary fixation (IMF) has established itself as the supplementary method for treating fractures and/or correct occlusion adjustment in the jaw area. Developed specifically for such applications, Medartis offers two different IMF screw types with SpeedTip technology and a Titanium Arch Bar in the form of a compact MODUS IMF 2.0 set. The implants were developed with respect of ease of handling and soft tissue preservation. While the IMF screws are intended primarily for use in intraoperative fixation, the Titanium Arch Bar is particularly suitable for postoperative management. Both the IMF screws and the Titanium Arch Bars can be used with wires or elastics.
