OPS 1.5

The orbital floor and wall are involved in many midface fractures. The aim of surgical intervention is the anatomical reconstruction of the zygomatic orbital bone structure in order to achieve the correct eye globe position. In this way, enophthalmos, hypoglobe and diplopia can be avoided. The MODUS orbital floor plate with its 3D mesh design is topologically optimized and offers ideal adaptation to the orbit, restoring its contours.

Application

The MODUS OPS 1.5 Orbital Plating System is intended for the treatment of orbital floor and orbital wall fractures > 1.5 cm2.

System components
  • 4 plate types are available, allowing anatomical reconstruction of all categories of orbital defects
  • Plate thickness 0.25 and 0.3 mm
  • Cross- and HexaDrive4 screws
  • Ø 1.5 (1.8) mm, lengths 3-16 mm
  • SpeedTip screws with HexaDrive4
  • Ø 1.5 mm, lengths 4–9 mm, green, in titanium (ASTM F136)
  • Cross self-drilling screws
  • Ø 1.5 mm, lengths 4–6 mm, green, in titanium (ASTM F136)
